White siberian

Many years ago, Jim Reicherts (professional landscaper and son of our neighbor) gave us a nice clump of siberian iris. We continue to enjoy the blue flowers every year.

But this year, in addition to the old reliable blue flowers, we have a single stem of white flowered siberian iris.

This is one of the joys of gardening. The garden is always changing and always manages to serve up some delightful surprise.
