Virtual life

I played Eve Online for a free month several years ago.

It is interesting to note that EVE Online and Earth & Beyond were originally announced around the same time.

Earth & Beyond, backed by mega-corporation Electronic Arts, folded up years ago.

Eve Online, run by small independent CCP, is still going strong, although obviously not without its problems.
