Congress is losing the war

"The war's being lost in Congress by the people who give aid and comfort to the enemies that are killing our troops."

- John Stevens, 79, a disabled Air Force veteran of the U.S. conflicts in Korea and Vietnam

Very sad, but very true.

But these people somehow are in self denial of this obvious fact.

The thing I don't get is that these people have nothing at stake personally. They have no family in the military.

Why can't they just go on with their self absorbed lives and leave it to the brave to defend them?

Can't they see that the military does not want their pangs of anguish and fear?

Unless of course they are truly traitors and are trying to help the enemy.

I hope that is not true.

Some of the Democrats want us to lose, and to me, that is treason.
