This is a very interesting article. I am somewhat pessimistic about the moderate Muslim solution to the problem.

Plausible two pronged plan. If we demonstrate strength and determination on the phae 1 we can implement, it will make it more likely the (so-called) moderate muslims will be brave enough to at least try to do their part. If they see any weakness on our part, they will not.
