The reason why we limit President's terms to two is that it must be too draining to go any longer than that. Bush has energy and drive, but even he is running out of steam. The constant drumbeat on the left is too much to take for very long, so this type of fumble happens.
He is now starting the 4th quarter, and he's tired. Not a good sign. But maybe he will get going again.
