Maybe so.
Many of us will reluctantly accept a short term trade off on the continued killing unborn babies and gay "parents" adopting the ones not killed, in exchange for effective, diligent leadership in reversing the rise of militant Islam in the world.
It is too bad we have to make that Sophie's Choice, but if it comes to that, it is a choice we have to make.
However, if we lose the fight with Islam, at least the abortion and gay issues will be resolved.
Us conservatives will become the new liberals, while the liberals will be under arrest.
