Appliantology

Germans are worried about the Church of Scientology.

It could be worse. It could be the First Church of Appliantology with L. Ron Hoover.

And that would inevitably lead to people snorting laundry detergent and plooking each other.

This is called Taking your Eye off the Ball.

While Islam spreads across Germany, the local Christians are worried about Scientology? Why should they worry about that? The Islamists will shut it down the day they take over, and Tommy Cruise will be nowhere to be found.

Just like the fanaticism about global warming, but by the time the melting icecaps kill all life, the planet may not be worth inhabiting anyway.

Maybe we should focus on the biggest problem first?

Unfortunately, Germans have a history of confused priorities.

People of German descent keep telling me how pragmatic Germans are, but I am not seeing it.
