What's she charged with?

When a local defense attorney noted for ferocity in appearance as well as conduct approached the bench with a man she was representing, the judge asked the defendant: "What's she charged with?"

Because the concept of a female felon is easier to accept than the concept of a female professional. And those who are successful are labeled as ferocious and unladylike.
