Wauwatosa murder

Boldt, 38, was shot shortly after 1 p.m. Saturday at the northeast corner of N. 68th St. and W. Wisconsin Ave.

We drove by there a few minutes after it happened (on our way to the Humane Society).

Very disconcerting.

Living in Hales Corners, I am not accustomed to seeing murdered people lying about on the sidewalk.

Why were you on your way to the Humane Society?

We have been looking at dogs for some time.

There was a nice beagle pup at the Hales Corners Pet Store, but I thought the $630 price tag was a bit steep.

The prices at the Human Society (most are around $200) seem more reasonable but we have yet to find that perfect dog yet.

A dog will steal your heart and give you so much and then it hurts so bad when it has to end. Do it anyway.

We went to the Humane Society again yesterday (it was on the way to downtown for our season tickets to the Stackner Cabaret).

We saw some nice dogs, but did not find that one perfect canine.
