Ceremony by Robert B. Parker (1982)
Susan asks Spenser to look for a missing high school girl.
Spenser and Hawk trace her to an underworld of prostitution and pornography.
This is a very disturbing novel.
The only redeeming factor is that some of the bad guys get punished.
Not a very uplifting ending.
