Why do we have to suffer through a Jimmy Carter to get a Ronald Reagan?
Is that what it has come to now? We refuse to learn from the past? Why is it so hard to see another Jimmy will cripple our nation for years and years to come? Maybe forever.
It is an interesting question. A lot of people said they would never vote for a Democrat again after Carter. Many of those same people voted for one of the Clantons, and will probably vote for another Clanton. As you can tell, I still blame the Earps. But if it wasn't the Clantons, it would be some other undesirable instead.
It is hard for me to figure out.
I guess people have short memories. After a bad liberal president, they remember for a short time, then they forget.
They forget the past, and are thus doomed to repeat it. And, as you point out, the country gets crippled each time.

40 for me as well.
Don't suppose we could find another Reagan again one of these years.
I remain hopeful that a solid conservative candidate will emerge.
It might take a few years.
You after Hillary has won?
