Nifong might be in a lot of trouble

This is an entire blog devoted to the Duke/Nifong case.

There is concern that DA Nifong may have violated criminal statutes.

If this is indeed the case, we can only hope that he faces the full penalties that the laws allow.

    Nifong may turn out to be a very productive person in the legal history of our nation.

    After this case maybe we will return to the historical and correct definition of rape.

    What it should be:

    The physical forceful taking of another unwilling person for sexual purposes.

    What it is now:

    Any sexual encounter that the woman later regrets, or otherwise decides to use to her advantage.

    We cannot live with today's rape definition. Nifong may be the one that gets it changed.
