Blackwater

Story about the former Blackwater from AP/Las Vegas Review-Journal (link here).

It is a sad comment that politics is more important than performance.

Not because it is a weapon, but because it looks like a weapon.

Ann Coulter vs. Dick Blumenthal

Ann Coulter exposes Blumenthal for what he is.

The problem is that he is what many northeastern liberals want.

Maureen Dowd

"Holy Roddy McDowall.

Christine O’Donnell doesn’t understand why monkeys can’t turn into people right before her eyes."

- Maureen Dowd, NY Times (link here)

Once again, I do not agree with Maureen Dowd, but I sure do admire her ability to throw some elbows.

Ann Coulter

This week, all we've heard about is how O'Donnell once said she went on a date with a guy in high school who claimed to be a witch. (So what? Bill Clinton married one!)

- Ann Coulter (link here)

Ann Coulter has her moments, and this was one of them.

Ionia Sandstone Quarry

About one mile east of Quarry Road along the old rail bed, in heavily wooded terrain, lies the Ionia Variegated Sandstone Quarry. The sandstone, once used widely as a building material has most recently been harvested for landscaping material. The quarry has been closed for many years however, with reflections from the crystal clear springs dancing on the sandstone, this is one of the most beautiful sights to behold in Ionia County.
